In this post I will be talking about most discussed Jio 408 recharge plan. After happy new year offer, Jio introduced the concept of prime membership and millions of users subscribed for it because of its lucrative offerings. Now Jio has stopped taking new registration requests for prime plan and if you have missed this opportunity then here is another chance to avail the offer.
Actually, Jio 408 plan doesn’t exist! The real tariff costs 309 Rs and it is available only on prepaid numbers. Take a look at full details of 308 plan.
Jio 408 Plan Details
Under this recharge pack, you get:
- Unlimited local + std + roaming + calls to any other operators in India
- 1GB data per day
- Unlimited sms
- All Jio app subscriptions
- Validity : 28 days
Note : On your first recharge of 408, you will get 1GB / day for 84 days instead of 28.
What’s Difference Between Jio 408 & 309 Rs Plan?
Rs 408 plan = Rs 308 (regular charges) + Rs 99 (prime membership cost)
The equation is pretty much clear. When you spend 408 Rs, you are basically paying for 308 plan in addition to Jio prime.
Is it Compulsory to Pay Extra 99 Rs?
Absolutely not! You can even recharge with 308 plan alone but keep in mind that you will not get any prime membership benefits.
How to Recharge for Rs 408 plan Online?
Just open jio.com and click on recharge now option. Then choose 309 Rs plan. If you are non-prime customers, it will ask you to pay 99 rs extra which is purely your choice. If you select it, cart amount will be 408 Rs. Then you can pay this amount using JioMoney (for extra Rs 50 cashback), paytm or credit/debit card.
Either way, you can also do same thing through MyJio app. Offer activation status and daily data usage can be tracked through MyJio or simply logging into Jio’s official website.
