After 2 months of demonetization, PM Narendra Modi launched BHIM app (Bharat Interface for Money) to take a next step in digitizing India. People in urban area are already using some popular apps like paytm, freecharge & mobikwik but the condition is worst in some rural areas where internet or wifi facilities are not yet available. Nonetheless if you want to enjoy seamless money transfer & cashless payment experience then BHIM is the app to go with.
Since the app is new it will definitely have some bugs and the developer team will surely fix it soon. But we do have some quick solutions for common issues. So, let us check them out!
How to Solve Bhim Device Binding Failed Problem?
1] First of all, make sure that you have enabled internet. If data is turned off, app will not work & you will get the error.
2] Secondly, if the internet speed is slow then there are high chances of getting device binding error.
3] To solve the issue, you can do 2 things : either uninstall app & then download it again from play store or clear the data from settings.
4] Important : If you have dual sim phone, then insert the sim which you want to register in slot 1.
Bhim Mobile Verification Failed Error
- Make sure that your sim card is fetching signals. If signal strength is poor, OTP will not reach and bhim will show mobile verify failed.
- Switch on Airplane/flight mode & again turn it off. Now try to verify your mobile.
Account does not exists while choosing bank
Most of the times you will face problem while selecting bank account. App will give notification like ‘error fetching bank accounts’ or ‘transaction has failed’. So how to get rid of this problem? Here are some solutions that you can try out:
1] While signing up on the app, you have chosen a sim card which is not linked to your bank account.
2] So, while registering an account make sure to insert the sim on which you receive bank messages.
If this didn’t solved the issue, then use following method.
1] Goto settings > apps > clear data of bhim application. Else simply uninstall & install the app again.
2] Open app and follow instructions given on the screen.
3] Grand all permissions (calls & messages).
4] At the time of mobile verification, select the sim which is linked to your bank account.
5] No otp will be sent, instead you will be taken to enter passcode.
6] Now choose your bank & this time you won’t face any problems.
